New activities involving angles and triangles are now available on Buzzmath

Angle-Angle criterion for similarity

Imagine a dialogue between two triangles: What’s my angle? What’s your angle? So… are we similar?  In this activity, students learn to demonstrate that two triangles are similar by finding angles with the same measure. They begin with a review of the angle sum of triangles and then solve mathematical and real world problems once they have established similarity.

Constructing triangles

The activity Constructing Triangles is both fun and challenging. Students use different combinations of sides and/or angles to create triangles. They determine whether they can create many triangles, one triangle, or no triangles using given criteria.

Let’s test these two activities on Buzzmath!
