Equivalent Ratios in Tables and Graphs

Number of texts to phone calls, study time to test scores, dogs to cats. Students will be equivalent ratio experts after completing Equivalent Ratios in Tables and Graphs. They will explore the patterns by creating and analyzing equivalent ratios using tables and graphs.

At the start of this activity, students will have the opportunity to complete equivalent ratio tables and use the information to answer questions and determine the differences between a data table and an equivalent ratio table.In the later pages students will complete tables and use the information to create a graph that they will then analyze in order to answer relatable questions. This activity also provides students with practice using factors, plotting points, critical thinking, and analyzing graphs.
