(Measurement > Measurement Systems > Customary Systems > Measuring Length and Angles)

Rulers, protractors, tape measures…oh my! Measuring Length and Angles lets students experience measuring a variety of objects using interactive measuring tools.

Students will use different measuring tools to measure inches, centimeters, meters, yards, and degrees. The interactive rulers and protractors allow students to have an authentic measuring experience. The students will use a standard ruler on pages 1,2, and 3 to measure to the nearest inch and fraction of an inch.

Students will drag a tape measure to measure in feet and yards on page 4, and manipulate a protractor to measure degrees on pages 7 through 10.
